Reception halls

Reception halls

Which RH's did you visit?

we visited the following:

Verdi's of Westbury:
Coral House
Elite Palace
Swan Club
Fox Hollow

And our choice, Crest Hollow. Out of all the others, Swan Club was a serious contender until visitng CHCC. I was looking for the 'wow factor' and didn't get that from any of them. And I was horrified by Coral House. The BM was very rude to the staff, and showed annoyance when I forgot to bring the paperwork she mailed to me. The undercooked steak at the food tasting made my FH sick (thank God I don't like steak that much.)

Where has everyone else gone?

We looked at Fox Hollow, Westbury Manor and Milleridge Cottage. Was underwhelmed by Milleridge, Westbury Manor was a close second for the price and the outdoor space, but Fox Hollow won us over with the Somerley room.

we went to:

Timber Point
Windows on the Lake
Venetian Yacht Club
Douglaston Manor

VYC won by a landslide. I dont know why I bothered with Windows on the Lake after reading a few reviews/comments on here.
