I want to get married on the beach and am in love with one hall out in montauk. I have family thats from queens and I can only make the ceremony for Friday night about 8pm. do you think that most people will not come because its so far. Please help

I think it sounds so nice, but I noticed your date is in August, and as I'm sure you know, driving anyhwere out East on a weekend (especially a Friday) is a nightmare. I would worry that even if they were willing to make the trip out, that a lot of people may get caught in traffic and be late. Just my opinion, but good luck with planning!

thats my problem, I was thinking about having it in september or june because I think those months its a little slower.

I think you have to go before Memorial day or after Labor day, no in between, I am pretty sure people will not get there in time.

Agreed. Our wedding was in Sagaponack (right past Bridgehampton) at 3:00 on a Sat. in July. Most people made it there around 3:30, and we pushed back our ceremony till 3:45. Friday night traffic would be even worse. 'high season' basically ends after Columbus day...so what about mid-late October?
