Reception Location Helpq

Hi,
I'm recently engaged and I visited the North Ritz Club in Syosset and loved it. Before I book, does anyone have any reviews or has anyone recently been to a function there?

I am also going to look at the Venetian Yacht Club - any info on them?

Not only have I been to an awesome wedding at NRC, but we loved it so much we booked it for ours. We have had nothing but a great experience with them thus far. Our friend's wedding was fantastic and the food was great. The best attestation to that is the fact that we booked it afterwards. I feel 100% confident with it. HTH.

CONGRATS!!!

My cousin just got married there May 27th. The place was beautiful and the service was absolutely impeccable!!!!!! Not to mention the bride has her own attendant, a personal helper who did everything from steam iron the wrinkles out of her dress, to change her shoes for her!!! The food was great also! I have a huge family and I have been to weddings at a lot of the halls on LI and I never heard of NRC. I think it’s the best-kept secret on LI!!!

I looked at Venetion Yacht club for my wedding and I was not impressed at all. I felt the tried to sell the place on the view, which is gorgeous, but who’s going to see it at night when it is dark out?? I feel the music and the food make a party and I heard the food wasn't all that great either so I moved on!

I booked at the Venetian Yacht Club and I'm so happy that I did. My mother just attended a retirement party there and she said that the food is amazing. They just totally redid all of the rooms and they are so beautiful. The view is what sold me on the place. I'm getting married outside right next to the water at sunset. I can't wait for the photos. I was there for a wedding 2 weeks ago and loved it. Seriously, some of the best 'wedding' food I've ever had. DH and I had the chilean sea bass with pineapple and mango salsa w/rice and we're still talking about it! LOL!
