JMO but the BBQ brisket doesnt seem to fit.

In my opinion its a PERFECT fit... then again.. Im Texan. Im having them add a carving station (extra one) for Brisket at my cocktail hour!

My Menu tho is a choice of:
Chicken with white wine and mushrooms,
Filet Mignon
Grilled Salmon

thought that was fair.

I guess I am a bit biased...I dont really like BBQ sauces!

I love brisket and all things bbq - but I am alone in my family. I think we're going to go with the flank steak.

This is a really tough question -- I agree that the brisket might not quite fit. (I'm envisioning BBQ sauce all over formal attire!)

My FI is a vegetarian and I don' t eat any meat except fish, but of course I want to keep the guests happy too. So we may go with one chicken dish, one red meat dish, and one vegetarian. Which seems like a shame b/c lots of people like fish, too!

I also don't wuite think the Texas BBQ brisket fits.
Isn't it a bit messy?

(By the way - I'm sure it woudl taste good - just might not be the right time for this kind of food)
