Ok, I am trying to do a timeline for the DJ and I don't really know the order of things!!! I need to know how the reception normally flows.
Like: When does the couple do the first dance, after the introduction?
When do the MOH and BM make their speeches?
When do we cut the cake?
When is the garter toss?
When do the parent dances happen?
Ahhhh I am more cluless than I thought!
Whats the typical order of events? TIA ladies!

this is how we had it:
BP entrance our entrance first dance MOH/BM speeches....
then after dinner and dancing cake cutting father/mother dance anniversary dance
then VH
we didnt do bo-k/garter toss

Are you changing around the order that you want? I spoke to my DJ on this and he told me he knows the order and we'll go over all of it at our last meeting and we'll move things around then if we want to.

We moved some things around, like parent dances. I was at a wedding recently and felt they interrupted the flow on the dance floor too much so we wanted to get more stuff out of the way while people are eating.
Parent entrances BP Entrance Our Entrance First dance Father/Bride Dance Mother/Groom Dance BM/MOH speeches Dinner/Dancing Cake cutting More eating Garter removal Bo-k toss Garter toss
We didn't do a garter dressing or anniversary dance.
