Reception prices?

Original post by CubanBride

I am not sure if people will consider this rude but I am wondering if anyone is willing to share their per person costs.

I got $54 p/p at Leonards for a Friday afternoon (3 PM) in April.

I was quoted about $100pp + tax/gratituity (no extras) sat nite in July. I was told May, June, Sept., & Oct. are peak wedding months so the price goes up during those months.

i'm paying $67pp+tax and gratuity for a Sunday evening in April. The Friday at Milleridge was more than that so I'd say $54 is great.

really? Are you going with the 2 star? I guess the cottage is just more per person than the Carriage house, unless the rates went up for 2005. I think mine is $65/person for a Saturday night in October.

Re: Reception prices?

i am getting married at the vanderbilt mansion. they quoted me $125pp before tax and gratuity, but i changed my whole cocktail hour so the tentative price now is $155pp. but i think we're also going to change some of the booze and add some desserts, so at the end of the day i think it will end up being $175 plus tax and tip. 125 person minimum on a saturday night in may.

After tax, gratuity and some add-ons, we're almost up to 200 a head. Oh, and it's at the Bourne Mansion for Sunday, July, 3. It's a night wedding before a holiday. 125 person min.
