Reception prices

I am just beginning this process. I have a tentative budget and trying to figure out average prices of everything....if anyone has prices that they were quoted for reception halls it would be greatly appreciated...still figuring out the date so months would be wonderful!

There are sooo many places on LI, could you possibly narrow it down?

Nassau or Suffolk?
North Shore or South Shore?
Only 1 wedding at a time or doesn't matter?
On the water?
Garden like grounds?
Is there a PP price you'd like to stay under?

Any other specifics you can think of would help...

Is the November date your definite date? Because there's a big difference between certain months, days of the week and times of the day.
