Originally I was not going to do one of those synchronized / line dance type things like the electric slide at the reception. A couple of my bridesmaids said I'm no fun by not doing them.
Is anyone else squashing those type dances or are you doing them?

I'm not doing them. I've been to other weddings where they didn't play them either and everyone still had a great time.

I had none of that and didn't regret it one bit. I don't think anyone has those songs played anymore.

I didn't want any of them played except for the cupid shuffle. Our dj said he forgot about it.. it was ok with me, we had other music to keep the dance floor going.
I don't think anyone is going to miss them..

Can't stand those dances either. I think if your DJ plays good music...noone will miss them

Thank you so much ladies. I didn't think they really did them anymore but they started to confuse me (which isn't hard to do these days). I'll just stick with my original plan. No synchronized dances!!!

This is the ONLY one I don't mind if it is played at the wedding
We'll be having the cha cha slide and the cupid shuffle. Of course we also need the Tarentella for our families.
