Hey, I need help does anyone have a breakdown of how the reception party should run? Like when to do the garter toss and toast's and stuff. I need help! thanks.

I'm not having a BK toss or garter toss, but here is what mine looks like:
7:10 Guests Enter Ballroom 7:30 B&G Enter Ballroom and Hora Begins 8:00 Appetizer 8:15-8:30 3-4 Toasts, 8:30-8:50 First Dance, everyone joins in 8:50-9:20 Main Course 9:20-10:00 Dancing, Parent Dances 10:00-10:15 Cake Cutting 10:15-11:00 Dancing

You shouldn't have to break down anything in time wise with the reception. You're DJand/or matrie'd should do that and come over to you and say 'ok now its time for this....then we're gunna do this...' The only thing you should concentreate on breaking down in from the time u wake up til the ceremony and where you plan on going for pix [if ur going to a beach or park] before you go to your RH.........

I AGREE MY DJ S DOING THIS FOR ME HE HAD AL BROKENDOWN FOR ME...SO GLAD B/C ITS ONE LESS THING FOR ME

I agree with these ladies, My hostess, planner , DJ and even photographer all said that they will create a timeline for me. That is the last thing that should be on your mind.

Im not doing a breakdown...I think that is the BM or Maitre D's responsibilities since they will taking orders for dinner, etc.
