How did/will you organize your seating? Any tips from previous brides?
Is it true that those closest to you, should be seated near you? Also, if you're separating B&G's sides, is it ok to squeeze a certain few into each other's sides?

Re: Reception seating
Traditionally, close family sit closer.
I have the same problem since I want my good friends to sit next to me. At the same time it'd be ackward to sit parents' friends far away from parents since they won't know anyone else (but then it's not fair to have them sit up closer than my friends).
UGH!!!

Re: Reception seating
also -be mindful of where hte speakers are going to be set up - younger people can deal with loud noise better - also younger people tend to be out of their seats more - so i think it is better to have parents friends claose - but is just my opinion

Re: Reception seating
My wedding party will be seated close to us, then our parents, and then we'll start from close family and work our way back. I think it's a good idea to keep the younger people back by the bar or close to the dance floor.
