Reception Site

I am so confused!!! We have gone to see so many catering halls on Long Island and I am still not sure where to have our wedding!
We went to see La Grange Inn today...does anyone have any input on this place?
How about Stuart Manor Country Club...We are going tomorrow.
It seems no matter what place you mention someone has something negative to say......

don't drive yourself crazy...IMO no matter which place you select you will probably find both negatives and positives from people who have had some experience with each hall...just base your decision on what makes you and your FI happy... make a list of the 3 top things you expect from your hall and take it from there! happy planning!

Like the others said, there's good and bad with every place. Not everyone has the same taste or has the same vision for their wedding.

Make a list of criteria that's important to you:
one wedding at a time
price
water view
location (nassau/suffolk)
minimum & maximum occupancy

Try to meet with places that meet his criteria and I think when you walk into THE place you know it.

I always tell Everyone, Go with what you want. When u find it you will know. Dont listen to other people. You have to decide for yourself. I refused to book anywhere until I tasted the food. Someone wil always have something bad to say about everything not only the place. TRUST ME. Remember you are getting married not them. Plus just because ure friends sisters Sister-in-laws cousin had a bad expierence doesnt mean you will. Good Luck!

I just wanted to say that when I first joined this web site, someone told me not to change my mind, or base my decision on others comments. They are opinions. Everyone has different opinions. If you see something you like and you feel that it suits your needs, then you go for it. It's your wedding.. and once you see the place that is meant to be you'll know it. My FI and I looked at a couple of places but when we walked into Estate at Eastwinds- we knew, it was for us.. I've heard good and bad. BUt that's the same with any place.. GOod luck,and don't go crazy over this..
