o.k i just got engaged and already feel overwhelmed. we want to have a casual, fun and inexpensive wedding reception. was thinking of the backyard but the logisitics seem a bit much. any one know of any halls or even a location i would be willing to set up myself and bring my own caterer that are reasonably priced?

I've heard that you can bring in a caterer at Huntington Townhouse, but that could have been b/c of culture reasons.

Believe it or not the Knight of Columbus in Syoset is very nice. My brother had my godson's Christening there. Give it a whirl!

If you want to do back yard setting... how about looking into the parks on LI... some are really nice!!! and if you set it up it will look beautiful!!!
