Im not too sure what the setup is at the reception tables. Do you have to tell people exactly where to sit at the table? I know the placecards are to be put at the entrance, but when you get to the table are you supposed to put little placecards there also to tell people where to sit? Im confused...... So far as I understand it, you have to number the tables, place menu's at the table, plus fit the centerpieces, dinnerware, flatware and crystal. Doesnt this all get a bit cluttered?

I am only putting a table number. They can pick whatever seat they want.

i'd rather them pick wherever they want..the number or name actually will be on the table for them

I too will only assign a table. I'll let them figure out where they actually sit.
