Reception Venue

I have been trying to sereach wedding venues in Long island, I currently live in Florida but I am originally from NY and want to get married up there. My budget is kinda of tight. I am looking at venues where it is less than 115 a person. I haven't set a date but I can be flexible. I was thinking March, but June would be the ultimate goal and I would have it on a Friday night since it is cheaper. Some of the venues I looked at online which I like are Woodbury Country club, Captain Bill's, Giorgio's. Could anyone please give some advice?

on a tight budget off season and early or sunday Miller Place Inn has a good package for 100 for about (for about 11K with tax is what my friend got hers for 2012) and Brentwood has a package for 100 for 9000 plust ax & service (100 min for package) but during wedding season and saturday nights it can run 16k plus but brentwood doesnt include some things like cake and centerpieces which Miller Place does

115 in March on a Friday is DEF do-able and you could get a very nice hall for that price.

what type of hall are you looking for?
beach/water setting?
mansion
catering hall
etc?

The thing is I actually really want it in June bc I would like a outdoor ceremony. Ideally I would like it by water but it doesnt have to be, as long as it has a nice outdoor setting, that would work. I am worried if I book in March it will be to cold and wont have the option of having it outside. I should have asked peoples opinion for Friday June weddings instead? Any suggestions?

I'd suggest looking at the Fox Hollow, it's really nice, similar to Westbury Manor (actually the same owners). They quoted me way under the 115 (before tax/gratuity) for a Friday night in Sept.
