Receptions

hi everyone..if you could give me some info on ANY of these places it would be great....Im looking at floral terrace, watermill, north ritz, lombardi's on the sound, and swan club also if there are any other places that you feel I should look at I would appreciate it!!

The only one I can give you some info on is North Ritz. My fiance and I went last week to look and the place is amazing!! I highly recommend it. It's getting nothing but rave reviews, and the pricing is very reasonable. We have appt. to go back tomorrow to take our parents to see the place and put our deposit down!! I'm so excited
But yes, definitely check this place out.

we're having our wedding at the Vanderbilt Mansion. The caterers is Lessings. they're a little far out but they have some beautiful locations.

I'm having my reception at the NRC also. THey have been great to work with so far. We went to a wedding there also and the food and service was fantastic. That's what made us go there in the first place. I highly recommend them too.

Lombardi's on the Sound...great food beautiful location but there is this wierd pillar in middle of the room ...

I booked at Woodbury Country Club
but the watermill was my 2nd choice.

Up top, click on the Search tab. Then you can search the Bride's Review Board for these different places and read what past brides have said about having their weddings there!!

If you want price quotes, I have them for Floral Terrance and Swan Club. You can FM me for details.

Also, I grew up in PJ, so I know Lombardi's well. The area really is beautiful, but it is as far north as you can get (i.e., nowhere near the LIE, Northern State or other major road, if you're concerned about accessibility for your guests). However, it really makes for a beautiful setting because it is set back and slightly remote. It overlooks the LI Sound and you can go to East Beach right next door for pictures.

the only one of those i also checked out was Watermill and we loved it. It came in to a close 2nd to our final venue. good luck!

We almost booked Lombardi's on the Sound, the food sounded absolutely incredible and the place is really pretty. We were quoted at $95/person for a Saturday night there. If you are really into food this could def be the place for you. The view from the cocktail hour is amazing. We didn't book however because we did not like how you cannot see the water from the ballroom.

I'm biased.... I love the swan club, the grounds are great, the food is great and the prices were GREAT

TRUMPETS AT THE GATE!!!! Beautiful!! But it is small, you can only have 119 guests...but if you were looking to keep it small and not have to invite the whole world it is great!

We are using Larkfield Manor. The owners and BM are terrific people to work with. The food is delicious and they give you so much. The place has been renovated and the gardens updated. It is beautiful. you should check here too. And the prices are not outrageous.
