Re: Recipes for the BBQ
ohhhhh i cant cook for my life, but im really good at eating my favorite things are the ones that are Marinated and then put on the BBQ (i love when its been sitting in the marinade for a long time.. i feel like the flavor absorbs into it soo much more)
Chicken marinated in Italian dressing (a thick hearty one... Newman's is pretty good)
steak marinated in Jack Daniels grilling sauce (with a little worschteshire (SP?) and some spices that DH throws in at random)
Cheeseburgers- mix in a little BBQ sauce (or JD sauce-- its my fave ) and put a small chunck of garlic and herb butter in the middle. SOOOOOOOOOOO good.
shish-ka-bobs pork chops sausage (and you can heat up peppers and onions in a metal pan on the BBQ)
i LOVE bbq food!!!!! everything tastes so much better (as long as its not charred )

I totally thought I posted. They did not come out that good. The Jack Daniels marinade was not our style. But at least I cooked the cauliflower.

Re: Recipes for the BBQ
I like to make kebabs-- you can cut chicken, beef, even fresh tuna steak into cubes, maybe marinate the meat in teriyaki sauce for a few hrs, then put it on the skewers with chunks of pepper, onion, and cherry tomatoes. Yum! I also like to sometimes put cubes of fresh pineapple on the skewers with chicken or fish.
I also love grilling fresh fish-- salmon, swordfish, tuna, halibut. Any thick fish works.
Other things: - steaks - shrimp (on skewers so they don't fall thru the grates) - burgers-- I stuff the middle with a little cheese for an 'inside out' cheeseburger.

Easiest thing - steaks sprinkled with Montreal Steak Seasoning. That stuff is the best!
