does anyone have a reco. for a tampa hotel? and what to see in tampa? we are only staying for a day but would like to do something while we are there!TIA!

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Tampa and it was a great hotel. We had excellent service and we ate at the Oystercatchers restaurant - the seafood was spectacular! We mostly hung around the hotel and went to Clearwater for the beach one day.

Ybor city is like 5 minutes from downtown Tampa, I believe, and yes, it's also close to the airport. Around 20 minutes from the airport I believe.
