So I was angry with DH last night -- playing X-Box til midnight. He gets up at 6am. I told him tough, we are going out tonight (I work from home and MUST get out of here!!!) whether he is tired or not (his fault if he is). I made reservations at West End Cafe, but.....anyone have suggestions for a great restaurant that could be FUN to hang out in afterwards and have a drink or 2??
Oh and I posted this here because this is where the FUN people are!!

I love Cool Fish in Syosset...good bar and they have live music on Friday.

I am not sure where you live but Painter's in Brookhaven is really great. The food is awesome and they have a great bar area with pool tables and sofas.
My favs are the thai mixed grill and the Tuscan Chicken.

I went to the New Yorker in RVC last night for my friends b- day- a bit pricey, the food was excellent, and it had a relaxed atmosphere if this is what you are looking for.

Thanks......they all sound good!! Brooklyn and Brookhaven are far for a Friday -- DH takes the train home to Seaford and then doesn't want to drive too far. But we will keep those on the list for a Saturday definitely!

I haven't been there in awhile, but Paddy's Loft used to be fun and it has a bar that was fun. They might have some good 'comfort food' for this cold, nasty night. It's on 107 north of Jerusalem Ave. right near the North Massapequa Post Office.

SPEAKING of Halo 2...I had to go with my DH to EB Game World at midnight when they were selling the stupid game. He had #219 so we only had to wait a half hour. I can't take it sometimes...
