A decent one -- I'm not concerned about the price for the moment... just something in or near midtown - downtown (but not TOO far downtown) ... within 1/2 hr of Penn by train I suppose.... a price range for a regular room is helpful too! Thanks!

There is a Holiday Inn on 32nd Street between 5th avenue and Broadway and also another hotel named La Quinta which is in the same block. They are one block from Penn Station. Also, there is another hotel on 7th avenue called Pennsylvania. It's accross the street from a Penn Station entrance. Let me know if you any other information. I work in the midtown area.

The Roosevelt is on Madison and 45TH, by Grand Central. It's a beautiful old property that was recently renovated, but the location is fabulous - you can walk to almost everything.
