The Grande Luxe, Houston's used to be good but I feel like their menu shrinks everytime I go there.

Barbs....depends what you are looking for if you want sit down dinner here are a few:

Near Franklin Square
Jonathan's in Garden City Park on Jericho Turnpike
Frank's Steakhouse in Rockville Centre (not so close to Franklin but good food)

Near Roosevelt Field
Shiro's Japanese Steak House on Old Country Road
Akbar Indian Restaurant next to mall
Heart of Portugal in Mineola - think on Mineola Blvd.

If you just want a place to eat, to just eat....
You can try Croxley Ale's in Franklin Square.

Cafe Barracco on Nassau Blvd. just north of Hempstead Turnpike in Garden City. Absolutely amazing
