I second Stacey Pitt! I also have curly hair that can get really frizzy and she re-formed my curls and they looked great. Pics in album.

Stacey Pitt's website looks amazing! However, it looks like one of you girls that recommended her is getting married the same day, so I am guessing she is booked :(...

Mario Diab!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure everyone is like Who? lol. No but seriously, he's really good. He's worked with a whole bunch of famous people and models. He used to work at deva chan salon in NYC, which is like salon heaven for those of us with curly hair. That salon is made for us! I'm really picky with my hair bc I've had a lot of bad hair cuts. Over there they cut your hair when its dry since curly hair dries at different lengths and then they wash it and 'set it' so your curls come out perfect! So, Mario does that too. He's really nice and communicative. His website is www.mariodiab.com . Definitely check it out!! When I met him he was over at Deva chan salon but about a yr ago he opened up his own salon and I followed him there (in the city). I just emailed him asking how much he would charge to come to my house so I'm guessing I'll get a response tomorrow. If you want I'll fm you the info.

no prob!

And not all of them book that early, just the ones that are well known in bridal circles...like if a name keeps popping up here all the time, and you have like less than a year to go, then chances are they are taken...but its still worth a shot to call if you like someone. And then there's cancellations too....

If those other people are booked -- maybe somebody from Devachan or Curlisto may have a person they recommend -- they are the curly hair experts. . .

Hi, i used to work for Devachan (curly hair experts) you can try booking with Melissa, ***, Sophie, Ana, Antonio (he does make up as well), Luciana, Sophie is probably not as friendly as the rest but she does great work. Also you can try Carlos Flores at Mario Diab Salon. He used to work for Devachan but then he partnered up with Mario. He has a great personality and great with curly hair. I used to work with him for 6 years!
Hope this helps! If you schedule with any of them can you tell them Mitzi says hello....thanks

Mario himself is great too. But since he is the owner it does cost a pretty penny for him to come to you. If you can afford it go for it! Or you can go over there. Either way with Mario or Carlos you would be in good hands!

-Many Blessings!
