Recommend a tailor?

Recommend a tailor?

Hiya all,

Can someone recommend a good tailor, quality and pricewise?

Also, is it wise ffor me to purchase a size 8 gown when I'm a size 2 in street clothes? I want to buy a Reem Acra sample (Rich), that has a lot of beadwork, so I will definitely need a great tailor to handle all the details.

TIA!

Madame Paulette's in NYC. You really should ask a seamstress about the sizing, though. The dress might not fall right, taking it in from an 8 to a 2 could ruin the line of the dress. Plus, the beadwork might get messed up. I'm a size 8 and I know there is a BIG difference in mine and size 2 clothing (my roommate is a 2. )
Hope that helps!

Bridal gown sizes run a bit large, no?

Gosh, I'm so worried now...

A lot of brides buy sample gowns and get them altered down... anyone with this experience with Reem gowns?

What area do you live in for the tailor to be? Bklyn, NYC, Queens, LI?

Anywhere is fine, preferably in between Bklyn and Queens.

I need someone who is experienced with the beadwork of Reem Acra gowns.
