Recommend your DJ

we just re-booked a new DJ...we went with funtime entertainment...they aren't a vendor on here but john, the owner, is awesome and they have an amazing system...not to mention he spent over an hour w us goign over what music we want and telling us about their services. he really loves what he does and it really made us feel confident that they're going to do a great job.

they gave us a great price too...FM me if you want their info.

DITTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FH works in audio and was able to recognize the speakers as being better quality opposed to al the other places we saw...he's big on nobody's ears hurting!

Barattini Productions......they have a percussionist that plays with the music!

I highly recommend them......I have used them before and have been to events where friends have used them and they do a great job. They are also very affordable :)

We're using starlight Express. I don't remember exactly how much (somewhere is the contract?) but we have:
cocktail hr
reception
2 plasma tvs
montage pics

I think there is more but I don't remember to tell you the truth. I need to look at my contract. but I think we spent around $3000

same here

FYI: Almost all dj company's have a percussionist or saxaphone player now to play with the music it's very popular..

and can give you a live band to play at cocktail hour, it will just be more $ wherever you go.

One thing I feel is important ..I am big on photography, FH is an expert on audio...BOTH DJ and PHOTOGRAPHER will offer to do your plasma TV's for a slide show (if you chose to have them)

Please be careful if you have the DJ do it! It is viewed as an 'entertainment' thing so both legally are able to do it. but the DJ will charge a little less and have a young kid walking around with a digital taking pictures and then most of the time the quality is not great.

SPEND the $ by having your photographer do it...quality is always better (this is something FH and I have noticed at every wedding we've been..some people are big on flowers, we are big on the slide shows) if you're spending the money on a 50' plasma, you want a picture that will FIT in it and that has good quality.

Just a suggestion..and to those girls who have already booked the video slide show with your DJ company's just ask them, 'WHO will be taking the pictures and with WHAT kind of camera???? '

Hope this helps!

H art to h art

I had them at my wedding and everyone is still raving about the dj, mc and percussionist
