I just had my bridal shower at the George Washington Manor in Roslyn and can't say enough great things about them; I had looked there for my wedding and their max is 150, so they are perfect for a smaller wedding, and their reception room is gorgeous!
Also, my reception is at the Strathmore Vanderbilt CC in Manhasset, not very well known, it's an old converted mansion, is very intimate and even looks like a castle on the outside!
