Hair colorist... I want to get my hair highlited (blond highlites) but I dont want to spend an arm & a leg. Any suggestions? I am in nassau county- dont mind going to suffolk.

In Seaford at Majestic Salon (on merrick rd, right by 135) my mother and I both use Anthony. He does AWESOME coloring..he takes his time to really look at your hair, eye color, skin color and then he will tell you either what he thinks will look super good on you or you tell him what you want and he will get the perfect shade for you. He actually was the one who talked me into going a little bit more auburn than light blonde this past winter, and I loved the way it came out!! He really knows his stuff... edited for spelling

Maria Hair Effex in Bellmore. I only get a basic color but everytime I go in everyone asks her what she uses. My sister gets highlights and low lights and they come out awesome.

oh when i did higlights it would cost me $125 but now I just do one color its like $83 with the cut and blowout.
I go to Kenneth Richards in Wading River where I have been goin for years Johanna does my hair she is the owner. Its average price though not really cheaper than anywhere else...
