We are using Music by Michael as well. I think he was 1600. But my friend had him for their wedding and he was really good. The dance floor was packed all night.

We used him as well and were so happy- he did a great job. Forget what we paid (maybe around $2000?) but we also splurged for the slide show which was about $600. But the slide show was totally worth it.

Re: recommendation for DJ

We booked with Tommy's Tunes. My FH and I have worked in cateing for years and they are the best on Long Island. Frankie or Joe are the best MC's. They will be having a showcase at the Watermill on 2-23-05. We are getting married there. It is free to attend you just have to call and reserve. Come check them out, they are really good! Good luck.
