We anticipate moving out to LI this summer and we are thinking of TTC starting late 04 or early 05. My current gyn is in the Bronx and I dont' really want to continue with him.
Can anyone recommend a good, caring ob/gyn (or gyn and ob if you know of two doctors), someone that you feel is very thorough in talking about different complications a woman can experience when pregnant and will be upfront about stuff but not scare his/her patients. And of course is affiliated with a good hospital.
I'm really interested in anything Nassau County, south shore but would consider anything up on the north shore too. I hear Winthrop is a good hospital to deliver in.

I can't say enough good things about my doctor. She is very thorough and caring. My mom, SIL and a lot of my friends go to her.
Dr. Jessica Jacob 3003 New Hyde Park Rd. New Hyde Park, NY 516-488-8145.
She does all of her deliveries, on call 24-7 and she works out of North Shore Manhasset hosptial, which from what I hear is the best.

Bethpage Ob/Gyn on Hempstead Tpke, I use Dr.Adrienne George. She is wonderful and compassionate. I went there in hysterics not knowing why I was bleeding- sorry if TMI, but it turned out to be a very bad UTI, she calmed me down and I highly recommend her. I know the practice is afflialted with North Shore Plainview, Winthrop, and Mid Island. Hope this helps. They have a website also, I think it is www.bethpageobgyn.com

I also go to Bethpage OBGYN. I went to Dr. Bervine. She is a doll.

I totally agree with dr. korn!!! he really is an awesome doctor...i work at long island jewish hospital and know most of the ob/gyns...
i myself go to dr stern (or dr wallace & stern) she's great!

I used the same OB as Tracy until I moved to suffolk. I really like him and he gave me a great rec. in Suffolk.
