Recommendations for hotels in Venice and Barcelona...

Hi Ladies,

Looking to book hotels in both cities for HM! Any help would be appreciated. Something that doesn't break the bank account but is cute and cozy and preferably near the center (or least near a metro line)!

Thanks!!!

We might stay at Hotel Al Ponte Mocenigo in Venice. Its gets amazing reviews on trip advisor and I bought Rick Steves book on Italy and he highly recommends it as well. I emailed them for their rates and they got right back to me. Even though they are still high for what is a small hotel, almost like a b&b, compared to other big hotels and 5 star ones, the price is good and from what i read really really great service and so clean and cute.

We honeymooned in October and stayed at the Hotel Al Ponte Mocenigo. It was lovely! They had a nice courtyard out front you eat breakfast in - so romantic.

My hubby and I will be staying at the Avenida Palace in Barcelona in a few weeks. I read a lot of great reviews about this place and our travel agent recommended it. It's right in the center of the city very close to all forms of public transportation and walking distance from just about everything.*plus it's where the Beatles stayed when they did a concert in Barcelona so it can't be that bad lol.
