Can anyone recommend a good and affordable digital camera? I don't want to spend over $300 dollars... under $300 would be really great!!

We're actually looking for this too for my nephew. We own a semi-pro Nikon but we're shopping Canon for him. They have a lot of choices and I know many people who have them and like them.

We were given a Kodak P850 as a wedding gift. It has been great. It also takes video (unlimited) until the memory card is full.
