I just googled 'calligraphers in NY' and found a list of numbers. I called about 10 different people and only 1 person actually answered.
Can anyone please recommend a calligrapher. I want hand calligraphy. TIA

I didn't use one. I did the invitations myself for the envelopes but I kept someone in mind. I got my invitations at Sweet Nut Hut and if I couldn't do the envelopes myself I was going to use the caligrapher there. The store is located in Babylon. Not sure if that is too far for you.

I got info from some girls about a woman in staten island. you can mail your envelopes to her. I don't know if you are comfortable with that. I haven't contacted this woman, but I was told she was only $1 for outer and maybe $.25-50 for inner.
I also contacted EZ calligraphy. They are $2 for outer and a little less for inner. They also reduce the price if you get invites from them.

I think she charged $1.50 an envelope. Thats including for both inner and outter. So it would be $1.50 for the inner and outter together.

I was quoted $3.45 for outter and $1.00 for inner for up to 75 invites. Any more they give an additional 10% discount. (this is a Westchester vendor)

Michelle Clark is popular on here. She's the one in Staten Island. I think she's $1.75 per set.
Another popular calligrapher on here is Wendy Trout.....she did mine and she did a GORGEOUS job. Just beautiful. She's $1.50 per set.

i went to regal bridal thy have a calligrapher that does addressing on envelopes for i think $3.00 each invitation. they are located on sunrise highway in lynbrook. not sure where u live.
