So we booked our engagement party and the place we having it will have rectangle shaped tables since we are having a lot of people. I had an idea for a bowl wih floating candles for round tables but I don't think that would look good in the middle of a rectangle table. Does anyone have an ideas on how to decorate a rectangle table? We are really not looking to spend a lot of money but want something that looks somewhat classy. Thanks!!

If you're looking to save money and like candle, you can alternate bowls with floating candles and tapered candles in a line down the center. Most of the pictures I've seen of long tables have several smaller things going down the middle.

At my brothers wedding they had bowls with floating candles. On the rectangle tables they had votives and seashells(it was a beach theme) in a line down the center on either side of the bowls.
