Red and Black

Is anyone doing a Red and Black wedding or have any different ideas for one?

I REALLY want to do one, actually Red & Black with Silver accents (FH loves those colors).

My only concern is that FH's brother was married in May 2004 and their color was red. I want to be different, but afraid people will think I am copying them.

I'd love to do red dresses with black accents on it (like a sash or 'belt'), red roses, etc.

There are a lot of red and black BM dresses out there...You could also do half the BP in red and the other in black....

I WANTED TO DO A THEME LIKE CARMAN ELECTRA AND DAVE NIVARO DID BUT I THINK THAT IS TO MUCH.....THEN I DECIDED ON A LAVENDER LIGHT BLUE AND SILVER THEME...BUT I THINK I MAY BE CHANGING MY MIND AGAIN......I THINK THAT I MIGHT WANT TO DO A DISNEY PRINCESS THING.

I love that dress! But it will not be that flattering to all my girls.

Do you guys think it's ok if I did the Red, Black and Silver colors in June 2006 even if my FBIL & FSIL just had red in May 2004?

I am also looking to copy Carmen Elecktras wedding. I love the look of such dark colors. I think it looks so elegant yet with a little gothic to it. I am also using the balck magic roses that she had. They are just amazing in person. The look like they are velvet...

As for doing it in the summer why not....I think it would look awesome any time of year..

If anyone see invitations to match let me know.

If anyone has pictures of bridal party dress that are in balck and red I would also appreciate it.
