OK. My grand plan has always been the VS Convertible Ruched dress. MOH ordered one first to see the quality. While I LOVE the dress it's a little...snug...and the fabric is not really jersey and a bit sheer. So with a little over 2 months it's back to the drawing board.
So help!!!
Recommend a off the rack store that is escaping my brain right now.
I'm looking for a shade of red, candy apple red, or a summery red. Bright, cheerful.
Jcrew does not have red. Neither does Ann Taylor. Will be checking out David's Bridal. Any other suggestions?

you can try Estelle's too.
ps: i ordered my red dresses from David's Bridal and am really happy ... they were in the store within about a month so you have time to order there, i think.

DEFINITELY ESTELLE'S
Also, you might want to try Nordstrom's Rack. if you only have one BM or a few BMs you might be able to find stuff there. Good luck!

Ideally I would like it if we can find a designer that has a couple dresses in different styles in red. I'm OK with them in different dresses so I'm hoping at least the color is the same. Which is why I'm going to explore David's Bridal first.
As a last resort if I have I will just give them a color swatch/paint chip and tell them to find a dress they like in that color. But I'm hesitant to do that because I feel that can be so frustrating for them.
Unfortunately Jcrew and Ann Taylor do not have red. :(

yes definitely.. i am so grateful i got my BM dresses from here b/c i had two BP members drop out 3 weeks before the wedding so FH asked another one of his cousins and they are rush delivering her dress to get in about a week before
