Hey ladies..I need a stylish red carpet kinda dress. FH has to attend the People's Choice Awards in January, and he's allowed to take a guest. He's one of the directors in charge of putting the awards ceremony and internet voting thingamajig together, and he's taking me to LA !! I'm soo excited...and with only a month to go, I need a really nice dress. Ideally, i'm looking for a sweetheart strapless dress, close fitted and stops at the knees. Any recommendations on where I can go dress hunting?

You'll be fine, have you seen how celebrities act...half of them are drunk, on drugs or messed up so you'll be fine lol...just be yourself and have a great time.

I used to work for SAG and I'd get to go to some red carpet events. I liked Macy's, Nordstorms and Lord and Taylor. They were affordable and elegant. Have an awesome time....these things are soo much fun!

Wow! That is sooo exciting! I'm jealous! There are so many great and fabulous dresses out there....I would just go to roosevelt field (i don't know where you live) i was there yesterday adn saw great things i would love to wear at nordstrom, varizoni, jessica mcclintok, bcbg, bloomingdales....it will be fun picking one out!!

Yea, i would say Roosevelt Field is good bet, especially now during the holiday shopping season , they're re-stocked and have lots of new dresses in the stores.
