Red in the spring?
I want to do cranberry red and Champagne as my colors - we originally thought we'd do a fall wedding, then thought twice about it. Now we are thinking May/June. Anyone else do deep/rich colors in the spring?

I'm doing red in July. I don't think you should go by 'society' rules. You only get married once and when you look back at your wedding photos and video it won't matter that your wedding was in the spring. What will matter is that you love the look of your bridal party.
When it comes to that I always say 'do what you want'. Pastels are nice, but not everyone likes them or looks good in them. I don't believe in choosing a color based on the season. I have seen people use navy blue and plum for sping/ summer weddings. Also, I had spoken to a bridal salon about this once. They said red could be used pretty much any time of year. I was asking about colors because I was (and somewhat still am) questioning my color. Hope that helps.
My friend is doing a cherry/cranberry color and her wedding is in May. I'm sure it will look great! It's your wedding anyway, and people are always going to talk no matter what!
Its your Day do what you want. There are many shades of red
Look if you said powered pink for November, I would say, if you really want it then do it, but I don't think it would go well. But your asking about red in the spring. Red can be used all yr round without anyone batting an eye. There are some colors and looks that go well all yr round. Red is one of them. Red in the spring sounds beautiful. I hope to see the pictures!
I'm having bordeaux (which is a deep red) and my wedding is in late April!!! So no, it's not too dark!
