RED linens ? - Opinions ??

I just saw a pic in a magazing of RED linens - Table cloth, napkins, w/ Red and pink flowers and votive candles - AMAZING !!
Has anyone ever done this ??
Is it dramatic and different ? - Or WAAAAY too much ?? What do you guys think?

I think it could be very nice is the linens are of a high quality and not with a shiny polyester sheen. I've seen pictures of tone-on-tone color schemes and it can look very different and sophisticated.
