Red Tent

I know its been discussed before, but what a great book. I was listening to it on CD and I was crying on my way home from work. I really enjoyed it.

I know that the Joseph story is from the Bible, but is the Red Tent based on the true story or is it all fiction?

The names in the Red Tent (Dinah, Rebecca or is it Rachel??, etc) are from the bible...but the story is fiction. The author took creative license on a story that is sort of brushed over/not really developed.

It was beautiful, wasn't it?

I just read it! Very moving and beautifully written! And hey, may be that's how the whole switch happened, may be it really was Rachel's idea! I kinda liked that!

It’s hard to find something adequate to read that can follow a book like that!
