Redoing veil

Redoing veil

I love my mom's veil - it's still white! I was wondering if there is a person who can take the toole and put it on different combs and maybe add some rhinestones and an edge? Is there anyone I could call to do this?

This may sound crazy but my dad just recently had a suit of his touched up a bit by a seamstress in, I believe, Deer Park. Anyway, I went to pick it up for him and not only did she/they (family-runned small business) do a great job on the suit, I saw a wedding dress hanging up that they made and I was totally blown away. I bet they would do a great job at working the veil but this is just an assumption. Alterations by Gina, on Deer Park Ave. Anyone ever have anything done there?

Adrienne's in Islip makes all of their own veils... they added tulle to a comb I had (the tulle that is came with didn't match).. I am sure they can do the reverse as well.. give 'em a call and see (FYI this is not cheap- it cost me $200 to get new tulle put on my comb).

I know of a seamstress that really is a miracle worker. Shes in Suffolk County. If you'd like more info feel free to FM me.

I got my dress from Adrienne's in Islip. They are going to be designingme a veil with the lace from my dress. I don't see why they couldn't so this service for you. Did you check with the seamstress at the place where you are getting your dress?

Re: Redoing veil

any good seamstress should do it. Karin Y made my veil (she attached to the comb and put some trimming on it)
