How soon after can you refinance?

we are doing it at about a year but i think you can do at as soon as a few months

I think they say a year generally because it is so expensive - You have to may that damn mortgage tax!

I'm a loan officer and I only do refinances. With my company, as long as you have equity, we can refinance you at any time...we do 100% financing. However, if it is within 10 months of your purchase date, we have to use the same property value that you purchased it for otherwise we can use the new value if it has appreciated.
