Does anyone have experience with Water Based finishing on hardwood floors? After hearing about how toxic the oil based stuff is I am thinking about going with a water based finish but want to be sure it will hold up against heavy traffic.
Not sure about the water based. We have the oil based and LOVE it. The only thing I suggest is removing any opened food, because it will seep into the food, and if you have any pets, to lock them up in a room, or have them stay at someone else's house. It is not so bad.
