Reformed Rabbi
Re: Reformed Rabbi
I'm still sort of looking. If you look online (google it) there are a few interfaitha ssociations and I ahven't had a chance to contact them. You can probably get a rabbi or cantor or a priest or anyone to do almost anything for the right price. I'm not saying all will, but there are people who entirely make their living doing interfaith and other non traditional ceremonies in ways that other officiants would not. For me, I'm sort of hessitant, because I'd rather have a rabbi who actually has a congregation and does more than weddings. Also, if you look on this site in the officiants section and in the directory section of bridal mags you'll find people. I don't have any specific advice, but I wanted to just give you those thoughts. Also it's a common practice, the promising of raising the kids in a certain faith. it's a standard part of the catholic ceremony as well, so you may have a difficult time. Good Luck and let me know if you get any good leads.
