Re: regarding invitations.. what do you do if?
thats tough, but i def would not let her do them if you will not be happy with them....maybe you can say something like i love what you did and i actually found ones at so and so and they are similar, and i just think it will be easier to order those???? IDK....I will keep thinking though

Re: regarding invitations.. what do you do if?
I had a similar situation myself. FH's step father is a printer and he offered to do our invitations for free. After I saw FBIL invitation from his wedding I didn't really care for them. I didn't want anything fancy but I at least wanted a border. All he can do for us is plain cardstock. Well FH agreed with me and we graciously said no thank you to his step dad. I felt weird at first but in the end this invitation is representing me/us and I want it to be something we loved.

You could always ask to see another mock invite but if you don't love it and she doesn't get your style, you have to say something. The invitation isn't a huge deal but you want to love it and not settle. Good luck!!!
