in St Lucia...has anyone heard any good things about either? Which would you recommend?

I stayed at the Grande, I loved it!!!
Even though I did not stay at the Regency, I liked it, but liked the Grande better.

We stayed at the Grande and IMO it was the nicest of the three. We were there in august in their slow season and it was DEAD at night. We didnt love the food either but it was definitely relaxing which was all we were looking for. If you stay at the Grande def hike up the bill hills to your right. Incredible pics from there and only $5 to get up.

We could not decide either, so we are doing both. We are staying at the Grande first, in the cheapest room (since the grande is more expensive)
then we are moving to the regency where we are splurging on a suite with private plunge pool

My best friend went to St. Lucia and stayed at The Grand. It is a little cheaper than the Regency. One differance is that the Regency is a golf course too. But she LOVED the Grand...and she said that she talked to alot of couples that stayed at the Regency, and they all said they wished they had stayed at the Grand instead. If you book one, you can visit the other two also..there is also one called The Halcyon. But I guess most of the activites are located at the Grand. I've heard that all three are beautiful though. We stayed at the Grande for 10 days and loved it. We visited the Regency and the Halcyon and liked both of them also. It seemed to us that the Regency was more spread out and of course it had golf if you like to golf. The Halcyon was beautiful, just smaller and quaint. Here are some pictures of the beach at the Grande-taken in February.
