which one is better? whats the dif? i know the regency has a golf course which i am not really interested in.

The Grande has better beaches but the Regency has more restaurants/nightlife...also the Grande is more of a single big hotel where the Regency is on the side of a mountain so it is more spread out w/ a main building and then some other rooms/restaurants far enough that you want to take a shuttle. They're both nice in different ways and it really just depends on what's more important to you. My DH and I stayed at the Grande because we decided that we'd rather take a bus to dinner than pack up all of our stuff and take a bus over to sit at the beach during the day...HTH!!!!

I stayed at the regency and loved it. I like the location and it is a lot more lushious there. Very good restaurants!! The grande is newer & is beautiful but reminded me more of just a hotel then a tropical resort.

I just booked the Regency for my HM. FH and I went to Couples Swept away for a friends wedding, and LOOOVED it, but we decided that we wanted a little bit more night life. We figured that if we don't like something about the Regency, we can always ride the free shuttle to the other 2 resorts!

yes you can. That is what some people did that we met. They even stayed there a night. I don't know if that is extra money though.
