reggie does something really weird does anyone elses dog do this?

Everytime we give him a pig ear he walks around with it in his mouth for sometimes hours or even days and he wimpers and tries to find a comfy spot. He tries out everyplace the couch, his bed , our bed, the floor etc- all while whimpering. Its to the point where I feel bad giving it to him becuase I dont want him to feel sad Eventually he finds a good spot but he does this everytime why?

LOL sounds like he is just trying to find a good spot to concentrate on eating it awwwww

awww - the whimpering might be because he's HAPPY too! Does he love pig ears more than anything in the world? As funny as it sounds, maybe he's just so overjoyed when he has these that it's like heaven and no ordinary spot will do for this special treat. Golem does this sometimes - especially when we are in the car and he sees other people, other doggies, but can't stop and play with them It's like he's so excited that he just can't keep quiet about it. Maybe this is the case with your Reggie too - I know Golem realy loves his 'piggies' when we give them as a treat!

Bella does the same thing... It's Histerical!!!! She even dropped a bone down the back of my pants once when I was leaning over on the couch!!!!!

OMG Otis does the same thing he did it last night with his greenie!! I feel so bad!! I'm not sure what it is but I'm glad he isn't the only pug!!!

Oh my goodness, my dog does the same exact thing. She is actually looking for a place to hide it. I have found bones behind my pillows on my bed, she has hidden it in the couch cushions. I think she whimpers because she is thinking 'Darn, where am I going to hide this thing???????'

My mother's dog does the same thing - we find things all over the house weeks later sometimes
