Are any of you including registry cards with your invites? I've heard it's bad etiquette, so I'm not really sure what to do! But I do think it's helpful so people know what to buy you and you get things you actually need and want. I'm confused on what to do!!! Help!

do not put registry cards in your wedding invites! i personally don't love the idea of them being in your shower invites either but i think it might be ok ettiquette.
a great way around this is to make a wedding website, direct-link to your registries and include the wedding website address.
'ex: 'for more information, check out our wedding website! www.ourweddingwebsite.com'
make sure you have other info on there besides registry though

no registry cards in the wedding invites, they were put only in my shower invites. PLUS here in New york people dont really give gifts at the wedding, ive never been to a wedding where anybody brought a gift, its all monetary gifts

I wouldnt include them- its not appropriate. Its like asking people for gifts, and technically no one has to get you anything- although you know they will. :)
