How early should I register? We are getting married July 2005 but are having an engagement party July 2004. I kinda am hoping to get mostly envelopes for the engagement but should I register for some things before the engagement?
Also, what kind of China is everone registering for? I want something not VERY formal, rather something in between? I don't see myself ever using China. Any Ideas??

I am getting waterford becasue I have to register for something, and it is only to put in my China Display. I will never use china. I think you should register before your e party.

I registered early, and now a lot of my things are unavailable through Fortunoffs...they have to be ordered. I would register for your e-party, but expect to make updates when it gets closer to your wedding.
I am going tomorrow to update my registry
My china is Lenox and my crystal is Waterford

I registered in August because many people wanted to get us a gift. It was so much fun! I have found that I have to update it frequently because a lot of stuff is no longer available. If you do register now, do not register for bedding or towels yet. Our consultant told us that we should wait until the summer because the bedding and towels are seasonal. Good Luck!!
