Re: Register
I don't think it is ever too early to registar---that way if something new comes in, you can change your mind on designs and things. Plus maybe people will want to give you a gift, even though you are not having a party. We had quite a few people find our registries and send gifts as a congrats

once you are engaged its never too early to register. People will buy you gifts randomly when they hear the news. If you dont register right away, they wait until you do and then send a gift. I used to think the registry is just for the shower, but it really isnt. We got engaged in August and we just registered last week. We had a a surprise engagement party so I didnt know to register before then.

Re: Register
IMO, I think it's a little early. Only for the fact that you could change your mind and things could get discontinued. I;m getting married in July and almost everyone told me to wait til after the holidays. I think stores come out with all new stuff after the holidays. But, then again it's really up to you.

Re: Register
it's never too early to start your registry. You can start one and slowly add items as you think of things that you'll need for you new home.

We registered in July and are getting married in April. It depends on when you want to.
