Registered at Macy's Last Night

I checked it out online today, because I couldn't get everything done in one day, and there is stuff on there that I did not scan in the store. What's up with that? Has anyone else experienced that? Why are they adding stuff I don't want nor need?

I love Macy's but due to the overwhelming disappointment and negativity I got from other bride's experiences, I didn't register there..

I hope you have a good experience with them sweetie!

I had no problems with Macy's registry.... It actually made everything terribly easy for me! If you can, just stop up there again this weekend, or soon, and have one of the ladies fix it!

Nah...that didn't happen to us, but we had a defective scanner, so even some of the stuff that we did scan didn't make it on to the registry. Oh well. So far, that has been our only problem though.

Jar-=--It does that because a lot of times the scanner will as if ou want it as a set or individual..I think if you press '1' it makes it a set...like if you can a place setting and put in like 1 or something, it may have taken that as a set and added everything that goes with that set...same thing with towels ans sheets and crystal...

We registered at Macy's and had no problems with them. You can always just take off whatever is on there that you don't want on-line. I did that a lot. I added and took things off without ever having to go to the store. It was great!

I will be adding, taking away, and changing things on line. It's seems to be easier for me. Thanks ladies for your responses.

Congrats! I personally used The Knot, but I have heard great things about Macy*s, like thier customer service for your guests who ask about the items on the registry.

When we registered at Macy's they did that too, but it's ok. What they do is, when you scan, let's say your china pattern for example, they add in all the extra pieces that go with it because they don't always have one on the floor for you to scan. It keeps you from forgetting something you may want or need for your set. You can always remove what you feel you don't need.

I registered at Macy's and no problems except the scanner kept running low on the battery but they fixed that right away.

All the deletions i need to do I did online at www.weddingchannel.com - it was easier than to explain and watch her fiddle for 5 minutes trying to delete one thing.
