Re: Registering?????
I always see things at crate and barrel - I think they give two free champaigne (sp?) glasses... really pretty ones .. but I dont know if its all the time or with the little flier from the bridal magazine !?!? ** ETA - I know they were giving them just for registering .. you didnt have to register for anything special.

Re: Registering?????
I think macys does something similar w/ the serving bowl for your china and I think it's champagne flutes for your crystal after so many pieces are purchased.

I got a post card in the mail the other day for a free gift if you register at Kohl's. It didn't say what the gift was though.

Re: Registering?????
Fortunoff's gives you a free soup bowl for every 5pc place setting that is purchased. At least that is the way it is with my pattern.
Macy's gives you the hostess set when your 12 silverware settings are purchased. Donst have to be all at one time. They also give you something when all 12 of your china place settings are complete. I think it is a veggie bowl or soemthing in that order.
Just becarful where you register I found that with my china Fortuoff's every day price was cheaper than Macy's sale price and I would get a free Soup bowl at Fortunoff's. So it is like saving $50-70 every place settting.
